Silent Divider Feltra is an exclusive and highly sound-absorbing room divider designed for those who want to create distinct zones, improve acoustics, and give the room a cozier and more elegant feel. The luxurious velour surface, the substantial fabric weight, and the advanced multi-layer construction make Divider Feltra one of the most effective textile solutions for reducing disruptive noise in homes, office environments, open floor plans, and professional spaces.
Divider Feltra is sewn in Sweden by experienced tailors who work with high precision and great craftsmanship. The fabric consists of European-made premium polyester, with both the front and back covered in a heavy, tightly woven velour fabric. The velour’s soft texture provides deep color richness and an exclusive look that makes the room divider equally aesthetically pleasing from both sides. The heavy weight, combined with an acoustic interlayer, gives Divider Feltra a stable and supple drape as well as a clearly noticeable sound-absorbing effect.
To make adjustment easy in practice, a 1.4-meter-long hem tape is also included. If the room divider needs to be shortened, it can therefore be easily folded up without sewing, making it easier to adjust the height to the room’s dimensions and create a stylish, well-balanced result right upon installation.
Triple-layer construction with velour on both sides – for high material density and effective sound absorption
What truly sets the Silent Divider Feltra apart from simpler room dividers is its triple-layer textile construction. It consists of heavy velour on the front, an acoustic fleece layer of 280 g/m² in the middle, and the same velour on the back. This construction significantly increases sound absorption and reduces reverberation in rooms where hard surfaces would otherwise amplify sound levels. Thanks to its high material density, Divider Feltra achieves a documented sound reduction of up to 12 decibels, providing a clear improvement in the acoustic environment in both private and professional settings.
High weight for real acoustic impact
Divider Feltra can be ordered with or without a sewn-in blackout layer. Without the blackout layer, the room divider weighs from approximately 2.3 kg in the 140x180 cm size up to approximately 4.3 kg in the 140x350 cm size. With a sewn-in blackout layer, the weight increases to approximately 2.6 kg and approximately 5 kg, respectively. The high material weight makes Divider Feltra one of the heaviest textile room dividers on the market. The substantial material mass directly contributes to the product’s ability to absorb sound, reduce sound transmission, and create clear privacy in a way that lighter textiles cannot achieve.
Blackout for total light control and even better acoustics
For environments where both sound and light need to be controlled, Silent Divider Feltra is available with a sewn-in blackout layer. The dense blackout fabric blocks light down to 0 lux while providing an even more robust construction that enhances the room divider’s sound-absorbing properties. Divider Feltra therefore works excellently in front of windows, interior doors, or placed inside exterior doors, where visibility, light, and sound all need to be reduced simultaneously.

All layers of Divider Feltra are made of 100% polyester, a material that is naturally moisture-resistant, dimensionally stable, and durable. The construction is unaffected by normal indoor humidity and retains its weight, drape, and acoustic performance for many years. That is why Divider Feltra is often used in high-traffic environments such as open-plan offices, schools, hotels, lounge areas, and restaurants where both acoustic comfort and visual elegance are essential.

Hej Tomas,
Det medföljer fållband/stryckband som man enkelt kan använda för att "stryka upp" gardinen till rätt längd, så då slipper du sy upp dom. Men vill man kan man absolut även sy upp dom, men jag som varken kan sy eller har orken till det älskar fållband, bara ett strykjärn krävs och sen är det klart mer eller mindre.
