Sound-absorbing panels featuring motifs of oils and raw ingredients – natural aesthetics with improved acoustics

Motifs of oils and raw ingredients convey a sense of authenticity, craftsmanship, and closeness to nature. Olive oil, seeds, herbs, grains, and other raw ingredients create a visual expression that is perceived as timeless and down-to-earth. With sound-absorbing panels featuring motifs of oils and raw ingredients from SilentDirect, this natural aesthetic is combined with effective sound absorption for a more pleasant sound environment.

In environments with hard materials such as tiles, stone, glass, or painted walls, sound reflections can quickly build up reverberation. Integrating sound-absorbing panels reduces these reflections, while adding visual calm to the room, enhancing the overall experience.

Motifs of oils and raw ingredients that create balance and authenticity

Oils and raw ingredients are strongly associated with quality, origin, and conscious choices. The motifs are often characterized by warm color scales, natural structures, and soft contrasts that give the room a balanced and harmonious character. In sound-absorbing panels, these motifs serve a functional purpose where aesthetics and acoustics work together.

This category is particularly well suited to kitchens, restaurants, dining rooms, wine bars, cafés, and other environments where food, ingredients, and experience take center stage. Even in home environments, the motifs contribute to a cozy feeling without dominating the room.

Effective sound absorption in kitchen and dining environments

SilentDirect's sound-absorbing panels with motifs of oils and ingredients are designed to reduce reverberation in spaces where the sound level can otherwise easily become stressful. The sound-absorbing core captures sound waves that are reflected between hard surfaces and contributes to a more controlled soundscape.

When reverberation is reduced, speech intelligibility improves and the overall sound environment is perceived as calmer. This creates better conditions for conversation, work, and social gatherings in both private and public environments.

Print quality that highlights the details of the raw ingredients

All sound-absorbing panels with motifs of oils and raw ingredients are produced using HP Latex technology, which provides high color precision and smooth transitions. Printing is done with water-based, odorless, and Greenguard Gold-certified inks that are suitable for indoor use.

The resolution is adjusted up to 300 dpi depending on the format, ensuring that details such as the shine of the oil, the texture of the ingredients, and natural color variations are reproduced with great accuracy and long-lasting durability.

Canvas fabric adapted for environments with food and raw ingredients

Sound-absorbing panels with motifs of oils and raw ingredients are available on two types of canvas with a weight of 260 g/m². The polyester canvas has a smooth and durable surface that is well suited to kitchens and restaurant environments where humidity and temperature can vary.

The cotton canvas has a matt surface with more texture and gives a softer, more artistic expression. It is particularly well suited to home environments or spaces where the focus is on atmosphere and aesthetics.

Stable construction and easy installation

Each sound-absorbing panel is mounted on a solid pine frame that provides stability and durability. Smaller formats up to 70×50 cm have a 15 mm thick frame, while larger formats from 90×60 cm and up have a stronger 20 mm frame.

The panels are equipped with 6 to 8 CNC-milled keyholes on the back, depending on size, making hanging easy and secure.

Create a harmonious whole with oils and raw ingredients

With sound-absorbing panels featuring motifs of oils and raw ingredients from SilentDirect, you can create an environment where natural aesthetics meet improved acoustics. The panels reduce reverberation, increase comfort, and contribute to a well-thought-out overall impression in both private and professional environments.

Compare the ingredients' texture and colour

An ingredient motif can gain its character from small differences between glossy, matt and uneven surfaces. Look at how the oil's reflections meet seeds, leaves or other ingredients in the actual picture. When there are many details, a calm background can help the eye find a clear focal point. Consider whether the motif's warm or cool tones suit the materials already in the room, too.

If several food-themed pictures will hang together, a recurring colour or similar lighting can bring the group together. Choose connections in the images' visual expression rather than assuming that all the ingredients must be the same.
