Sound-absorbing panels featuring motifs of Moscow – effective acoustics with iconic city imagery

The sound environment affects how we experience a room more than we often realize. In environments with hard surfaces, sound can bounce between walls, ceilings, and floors, leading to reverberation, stress, and poorer communication. With sound-absorbing panels featuring motifs of Moscow from SilentDirect, you get a solution that combines reliable sound absorption with a visual expression that becomes a natural part of the interior design. The motifs can create a clear identity in the room, from classic views of Red Square and the Kremlin to modern perspectives of the city skyline and lights.

Unlike traditional acoustic panels, our sound-absorbing panels are designed to look like art. You get better sound comfort without giving the room a technical look, making the panels equally relevant in homes as in public and professional contexts where both aesthetics and function matter.

Noticeable sound reduction and improved room acoustics

SilentDirect's sound-absorbing panels are designed to effectively absorb sound waves and reduce reverberation in rooms with glass, concrete, plaster, or wood surfaces, for example. When reflections are dampened, the room feels calmer and clearer, which makes a big difference to conversations, work, and relaxation. Speech perception is improved, background noise is less intrusive, and the sound level becomes more pleasant.

In practice, this means that a room with clear city motifs can feel more harmonious to be in. By combining several panels, you can adapt the sound environment to the size and needs of the room, while creating a cohesive wall surface where the Moscow motifs visually tie the interior together.

Flexible acoustic solution for many different environments

Sound-absorbing panels are now used in a wide variety of environments. In the home, they contribute to a calmer living room, a more focused home office, or a bedroom with a softer soundscape. City motifs of Moscow are particularly well suited where you want to create a sophisticated, urban look with clear lines, light contrasts, and architectural details.

In workplaces, the panels create better acoustic comfort in offices, meeting rooms, and open spaces. In restaurants, hotels, and conference environments, they contribute to a more pleasant atmosphere where guests can converse without having to raise their voices. In studios and creative environments, sound-absorbing panels are used to create a more controlled and balanced soundscape that benefits both work and creativity, while the choice of motif gives the room a strong identity.

Premium printing with high color precision and long durability

All sound-absorbing panels from SilentDirect are produced using HP Latex technology, which ensures high color precision, sharp details, and smooth tone transitions. Printing is done with water-based, odorless, and Greenguard Gold-certified inks that are safe to use even in sensitive indoor environments. The resolution is adjusted up to 300 dpi depending on the format, providing a detailed and professional reproduction of each motif.

The colors are UV-resistant and retain their intensity even in bright rooms with large windows or strong lighting. This means that night scenes with light, panoramas with sky, and motifs with stone and facade details retain their depth over time, without losing sharpness or character.

Choice of canvas – polyester or cotton

SilentDirect offers sound-absorbing panels with two different types of canvas, both weighing 260 g/m². The polyester canvas provides a smooth and modern surface with very high color precision and excellent UV resistance. It is easy to maintain and can be gently wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth if necessary, making it suitable for environments with higher cleaning requirements.

The cotton canvas, on the other hand, has a more matte texture with natural warmth and a more artistic, hand-painted character. The lively texture adds depth to the motif and is particularly suitable when you want a softer look in the room. To preserve the natural surface, dry wiping is recommended. Regardless of the canvas type, HP Latex inks provide a durable surface with long-lasting color intensity.

Acoustic core with documented performance

The sound-absorbing function is based on a high-density acoustic core made from at least 50 percent recycled polyester. The core material has a density of approximately 450–600 g/m² and is designed to effectively capture sound waves and reduce reverberation in the room. This contributes to better concentration, improved speech clarity, and a more pleasant sound environment.

A 4 mm protective board made of CE, M1, and PEFC-certified wood is mounted on the back of each panel. The board provides stability, protects the acoustic core, and contributes to a dimensionally stable and durable construction. The combination of canvas fabric, core material, and protective board provides even and effective sound absorption across the entire surface.

Stable frame, precise canvas tension, and professional finish

Each sound-absorbing panel is mounted on a solid pine frame for high stability and long life. Smaller formats up to 70×50 cm have a 15 mm thick frame, while larger formats from 90×60 cm and up are mounted on a stronger 20 mm thick frame. The precise canvas tension ensures that the panel retains its shape over time without sagging or warping.

The motifs are printed around the entire frame, creating an elegant edge print and a sophisticated gallery look. This makes the panel look just as well thought-out in a hotel lobby, meeting room, or home where interior design is important as it does in more creative environments with a focus on expression and identity.
