Important information about second grade
Visual deviations may occur.
The product is sold in its current condition.
Fully functional in terms of sound absorption.
Limited quantity, first come, first served.
SilentDirect PET 150x50cm - second grade is a cost-effective sound absorber for those who want to improve acoustics at a lower price. The panels are made from recycled polyester and offer the same sound-absorbing function as the first grade, but are sold at a reduced price due to aesthetic variations.
Package contents and format
The product is sold as a package containing 7 panels , totaling 5.25m².
Each panel measures 150x50cm, is approximately 9mm thick, and has rounded corners.
Same sound absorption – visual variations in the surface
The panels are black in color, but as the material consists of recycled PET, there may be lines, prints, or minor visual marks on the surface. These aesthetic deviations do not affect the sound absorption or acoustic function.
Sustainable material choice with unique character
SilentDirect PET is made from at least 30% recycled material, mainly PET bottles and recycled industrial felt. Each panel therefore has a unique expression in terms of structure and surface finish. The material is 100% recyclable, odorless, moisture resistant, and resistant to mold.
Effective sound absorption with bicomponent fiber
The use of bicomponent fiber gives the material an open pore structure that effectively absorbs sound waves. This makes the panels particularly suitable for reducing reverberation in rooms with hard surfaces, such as offices, studios, schools, and workrooms.
Wall or ceiling mounting
The panels can be mounted in several ways depending on the substrate and area of use. Common mounting methods are quick-setting mounting adhesive, brackets, or screws. For walls, double-sided tape, Velcro, or wall adhesive can also be used depending on the substrate. For ceiling installation, we recommend mounting adhesive, brackets, or screws, and we advise against using tape on ceilings.
Ideal for cost-conscious projects
This second-grade product is ideal for environments where function is prioritized over a completely uniform visual appearance, such as studios, technical rooms, workrooms, or larger projects where many panels are used. An effective and affordable way to improve acoustics.
