With a 50mm-thick core of compact polyester and a removable acoustic fabric made from OEKO-TEX-certified textile, the product offers both technical performance and a soft, interior-friendly aesthetic. SilentDirect PES Fabric is the perfect choice for environments where acoustic comfort, design, and hygiene are equally important—such as offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and home environments.
The product combines powerful sound absorption with visual flexibility. The absorber is available in ten different colors and can be easily adapted to the room’s design. The fabric is removable and can be gently washed to ensure long-lasting freshness and aesthetics even in sensitive indoor environments. SilentDirect PES Fabric is completely free of adhesives, irritating fibers, and harmful chemicals, making it particularly suitable for people with allergies and environments with high indoor air quality requirements.
Acoustic performance and modular flexibility
SilentDirect PES Fabric 592x592mm is designed to dampen reverberation and reduce disruptive sound reflections that are often amplified in open ceiling spaces. The absorber has an NRC value of 0.94, meaning that up to 94% of incident sound is absorbed—a level that far exceeds the performance of traditional ceiling tiles.
Standard ceiling tiles in suspended ceilings are often 15–20 mm thick and made of high-density materials that limit sound absorption. SilentDirect PES Fabric, on the other hand, is a full 50 mm thick, with an optimized density of around 40 kg/m³, providing a perfect balance between volume and open-cell structure—crucial for effective sound absorption across a broad frequency spectrum. Thanks to its modular format, the product is designed for easy drop-in installation in standard 600x600mm grid systems, making it perfect for both new installations and acoustic upgrades of existing suspended ceilings.
Durable, washable fabric for extra hygiene and design freedom
The fabric surface of SilentDirect PES Fabric consists of an exclusive, OEKO-TEX-certified acoustic fabric that gives the product a soft and elegant appearance. The fabric is removable and can be gently machine-washed or hand-washed at up to 40°C, making the product particularly suitable for environments where hygiene is critical. Only gentle machine or hand washing is permitted. The fabric must not be bleached, ironed, or tumble dried, but can be ironed on low heat (max 110°C) and is approved for dry cleaning. The washable fabric cover allows the product to maintain its aesthetic and hygienic condition over time, which is particularly valuable in schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and homes where the indoor environment is a priority. The fabric is available in ten modern colors, offering great flexibility to match the room’s other design elements and create a harmonious whole.
