SilentDirect PET Square is a sound absorber made from recycled polyester that effectively reduces noise levels in everything from offices and schools to home environments. Effective sound absorption in a slim format

With a thickness of 9 mm and a density of approximately 1800 g/m², SilentDirect PET Square reduces disruptive sound reflections and shortens the reverberation time in the room. The slim construction makes the product particularly effective in smaller rooms where sound quickly bounces between hard surfaces. For larger spaces or environments with high noise levels, we recommend the 50 mm SilentDirect PES instead, which provides more comprehensive and deep sound absorption.

Eco-friendly material in every panel

SilentDirect PET Square consists of at least 30% recycled material, with PET bottles and surplus felt reused in the form of compressed needle felt. The product is 100% recyclable, free from harmful substances, and completely odorless, making it safe to use even in sensitive indoor environments. The combination of sustainable production and long service life makes it a responsible choice from both an environmental and quality perspective.

Bicomponent fiber – the technology behind the performance

The manufacturing method is based on bicomponent fiber, which creates a more open structure with improved airflow between the fibers. This provides more effective sound absorption compared to traditional molded polyester. The result is a lightweight, dimensionally stable, and durable sound absorber with reliable acoustic performance over time.

A unique look with a sustainable character

Each panel has a unique appearance because it is made from recycled materials such as PET bottles and residual fibers. Variations in texture and shade between the front and back may therefore occur, giving each panel its own character. Installation Options

SilentDirect PET Square can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or integrated into structural frameworks. You can choose from several mounting options, such as without fasteners, with screws, with picture hooks, or with hidden fasteners. When choosing hidden fasteners, the panel comes with five CNC-milled keyhole fasteners in MDF that are glued to the back, providing a stable and discreet installation.

Flexible use in various environments

SilentDirect PET Square is ideal for public spaces, schools, offices, and home environments. The panel can be used individually or combined to create larger contiguous surfaces. This makes it easy to tailor the solution to the room’s acoustic needs and visual aesthetic.

Installing SilentDirect PET on a wall

Installation is simple and can be adapted to the substrate. SilentDirect PET can be installed using fast-curing mounting adhesive, brackets, double-sided tape, hook-and-loop tape, wallpaper adhesive, fabric adhesive, or wall adhesive. The panel can also be fastened with visible or hidden screws where the screw head is countersunk into the material. Alternatively, nails, brads, or staples can be used, provided they are at least 27 mm long. Visible screws can also be used as a design element in, for example, industrial or creative environments.

Installation of SilentDirect PET on ceilings

For ceiling installation, fast-curing mounting adhesive, brackets, or screws are recommended. Hidden screws can be countersunk into the material for a discreet result. Nails, brads, or staples of at least 27 mm also work, depending on the substrate. Double-sided tape should not be used for ceiling installation.
