Ceiling Absorber for Industrial Use – PES Ceiling Deep Industry
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is an extra-deep ceiling absorber designed for industrial environments and other demanding spaces where noise, high volumes, and hard surfaces create challenging acoustics. With a thickness of 100 mm, it is designed to provide powerful sound absorption in production halls, workshops, warehouses, technical spaces, and other environments where sound reflections off the ceiling would otherwise amplify reverberation and make the acoustic environment more stressful.
The absorber is available in three colors—white, gray, and black—and five sizes: 592x592mm, 800x800mm, 1000x1000mm, 1200x600mm, and 1200x900mm. The needle-punched, fabric-free surface is durable and designed to perform in more demanding environments where material selection, durability, and long service life are key factors.
Maximum sound absorption for ceilings in demanding industrial facilities
In industrial facilities, strong sound reflections often occur from concrete, steel, and other hard surfaces. When sound bounces between ceilings, walls, and floors, reverberation builds up, which can make the work environment tiring and difficult to communicate in. SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is designed to counteract this effect by absorbing sound directly at the ceiling, where a large portion of the reflections occur.
The extra thickness of 100 mm provides a clear advantage when acoustics are particularly demanding, such as in spaces with high ceilings, large open areas, or many simultaneous sound sources. By reducing reverberation and echo, the sound environment feels more controlled, which can improve speech intelligibility and reduce the perceived noise burden in everyday life.
Safe, hygienic, and sustainable material for tougher environments
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is made from OEKO-TEX®-certified polyester and is free from chemicals, emissions, strong odors, and allergens. This makes it a safe choice even in settings where indoor air quality, hygiene, and the work environment are priorities.
The material is mold-resistant and is not adversely affected by moisture, which is an important feature in industrial buildings where climate and air circulation can vary. The compact needle-punched surface is also easy to keep clean with a vacuum cleaner or gentle wiping, making the product practical in environments where maintenance needs to be simple and reliable over time.
Stylish and robust design with flexible installation options
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry combines high acoustic performance with a clean and functional design that fits into both modern industrial projects and more traditional spaces. The panels feature a straight-cut edge profile and can be installed individually or in larger groups to create a comprehensive solution that meets the space’s needs.
PES Ceiling Deep Industry offers several mounting options to suit different types of ceilings and installation requirements:
Without mounting accessories
Provides complete freedom to use your own fastening methods, such as adhesive, screws, or integration into the supporting structure.
With mounting brackets
When installing with mounting brackets, 4 mounting brackets are included for sizes 592x592mm, 800x800mm, and 1000x1000mm, and 6 mounting brackets are included for other sizes. Choose between mounting brackets – 0 mm spacing for ceiling-close mounting or mounting brackets – 50 mm spacing, which creates a 50 mm air gap for increased sound absorption.
With wire suspension
When selecting wire suspension, a wire kit designed for stable suspension is included. Each kit contains a coil spring, a wire with an eye, and a carabiner with an adjustable clamp. Hooks for ceiling mounting are not included and must be selected based on the specific ceiling structure.
What is the difference between mounting brackets – 0 mm clearance and mounting brackets – 50 mm clearance?
Mounting brackets – 0 mm spacing mount the absorber directly against the ceiling without an air gap, creating a flush-with-the-ceiling appearance. The total projection is approximately 100 mm, which corresponds to the thickness of the sound absorber.
Mounting brackets – 50 mm spacing, on the other hand, create an air gap of approximately 50 mm between the sound absorber and the ceiling. This results in a total projection of approximately 150 mm. The air gap improves sound absorption and is often recommended in industrial spaces with high ceilings or where maximum acoustic performance is desired.
The choice between mounting brackets – 0 mm gap and mounting brackets – 50 mm gap is therefore a matter of balancing aesthetics, installation conditions, and sound absorption. For the best acoustic results in demanding industrial environments, spacer brackets are often the strongest option, while gap brackets are suitable when a closer-to-the-ceiling installation is prioritized.
A future-proof and circular option for industry
SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is made from recycled polyester and is fully recyclable. This makes it a sustainable choice for industrial projects where long service life, robustness, and circular material choices are key requirements. The absorber resists moisture, mold, and deformation and requires minimal maintenance, making it well-suited for operations where the acoustic solution needs to perform reliably over the long term.
For those seeking an extra-deep ceiling absorber for industrial use with high sound absorption, durable material, and flexible installation options, SilentDirect PES Ceiling Deep Industry is a reliable and professional solution.
