With an NRC value of 0.80, SilentDirect PET Rectangle reduces disruptive noise and reverberation in a room. It is particularly effective in spaces where every millimeter counts – for example, in smaller rooms or behind furniture, desks, or equipment. The material is produced using bicomponent fiber technology, where two different polymers are combined in the same fiber. This creates a unique internal structure with air pockets between the fibers. Combined with needle punching, this results in a porous and flexible core that absorbs sound waves significantly better than traditionally molded polyester.

At least 30% of the material consists of recycled components, where PET bottles and second-grade felt are pressed into a durable acoustic panel with a soft textile feel. Because recycled materials are used, the front and back may differ in texture and color tone, giving each panel a natural variation. Installing SilentDirect PET on walls
The installation is simple and can be adapted to your surface. SilentDirect PET can be installed using fast-curing mounting adhesive, brackets, double-sided tape, hook-and-loop fasteners, wallpaper glue, textile glue, or wall glue. It can also be attached with visible screws, hidden screws (the screw head recessed into the material), hot glue, or with nails, brads, or staples – provided they are at least 27mm long. Visible screws also work and can become a design element, especially in industrial or creative interior settings.

For ceiling installation, we recommend fast-curing mounting adhesive, brackets, visible screws, or hidden screws pressed into the material. You can also use nails, brads, or staples that are at least 27mm long. We do not recommend using double-sided tape on ceilings.
