Silent Curtain Feltra is sewn in Sweden by experienced tailors who work with perfect precision in every stitch. The fabrics are European-made and consist of 100% high-quality polyester, with the front made of a heavy, exclusive velour fabric. The dense structure of the velour surface gives the curtain a soft, deep sheen and a stable, premium drape that enhances the luxurious feel. The combination of velour and acoustic fleece also results in a significantly higher fabric weight than standard curtains—a factor crucial to the curtain’s sound-dampening and sound-absorbing capabilities. In models without a blackout layer, the weight ranges from approximately 1.5 kg for the 140x180 cm size to about 2.8 kg for the 140x350 cm size. With a sewn-in blackout fabric, the total weight increases to approximately 1.8 kg and about 3 kg, respectively. The high fabric weight gives Curtain Feltra a heavy and stable drape that contributes to its extreme sound-absorbing capacity. The denser and heavier the fabric, the more energy is absorbed by the fiber depth—making Curtain Feltra significantly more effective than simpler, thinner sound-absorbing curtains.

Silent Curtain Feltra is available with an optional blackout layer that blocks all light down to 0 lux. This premium layer provides complete blackout during the day and further enhances the curtain’s acoustic properties by increasing material thickness and overall density.

Without blackout, Curtain Feltra allows only a very low level of light transmission—typically around 5–10 lux depending on color.
