Street life and bridges in Japanese graphics
The selection reproduces older Japanese imagery, including Hiroshige’s moonlit street and snowy bridge view. Small figures, façades and the direction of the water allow the picture to work both up close and as a wider colour composition. Bridge and ravine subjects use strong perspective and defined contours.
Let the detail guide placement. A street with many tiny figures can reward a position you often pass closely; a high cliff and bridge may remain clearer at greater distance. Historical images are reproduced as prints on the picture. Product execution and dimensions are listed on the individual page.
Blossom, figures and colour-treated views
The sakura poster spreads pink flowering branches across a light background. Figure posters create another focus through clothing, posture and graphic details. They can suit a more person-centred Japanese motif within a travel- or art-inspired arrangement.
The pagoda picture combines architecture and mountain with selectively red foliage against a largely monochrome setting. Its colour effect differs from a naturally coloured landscape. Choose room colours from the actual product image and its treatment.
Portrait posters and broad landscapes
Several motifs are portrait-oriented and can add height to a narrow wall area. The wider pagoda and mountain view needs more horizontal room. Measure the intended position and compare the sizes offered for the individual product.
The outer frame is a visible part of the whole. Choose from the actual frame options on the product page and compare them with furniture, wall colour and contours. In a group of Japanese motifs, a common frame tone or repeated blue, red or pink can connect different image styles.
Part of the interior and acoustic setting
A Japan-inspired wall can centre on a place, a graphic tradition or a recurring room colour. Leave space around the pictures so fine branches, small characters and building forms remain readable. Check the view from the room’s usual seating positions too.
The absorbent construction can help reduce reverberation. Its contribution depends on total area, placement and other room materials. Follow mounting and care instructions and use dimensions and construction information when choosing pictures for their intended setting.
