SilentDirect PET Square consists of at least 30% recycled material, where old PET bottles and surplus felt are given new life as compressed needle felt. SilentDirect PET Square is 100% recyclable, free from harmful substances, odorless, and safe to use even in sensitive indoor environments.

Bicomponent fiber – the technology that makes a difference

One of the unique advantages of SilentDirect PET Square is the innovative manufacturing method using bicomponent fiber. This technique uses two polymer components in each fiber, providing better airflow between fiber layers and thus higher sound absorption compared to standard molded polyester. Each panel has a unique visual character because it is made from recycled materials, including PET bottles, scrap materials, and second-sorted felt. Installing SilentDirect PET on walls
The installation is simple and can be adjusted to your surface. SilentDirect PET can be mounted with fast-curing adhesive, brackets, double-sided tape, hook-and-loop fasteners, wallpaper glue, fabric glue, or wall adhesive. It can also be fastened with visible screws, hidden screws (with the screw head recessed into the material), hot glue, or with nails, brads, or staples – provided they are at least 27mm long. Visible screws also work and can become a design element, especially in industrial or creative interior environments.

For ceiling installation, we recommend fast-curing adhesive, brackets, visible screws, or hidden screws pressed into the material. You can also use nails, brads, or staples of at least 27mm. We do not recommend using double-sided tape on ceilings.
