Acoustic wall art - World map - graffiti

Acoustic wall art – World map - graffiti for quieter rooms and softer acoustics

With acoustic wall art World map - graffiti from SilentDirect, you get a combination of high-quality imagery and an acoustic solution. The panel is constructed on a canvas panel with a pine frame, the interior of which is filled with a core of recycled polyester that reduces reverberation.

This type of construction is ideal for rooms where it would otherwise be difficult to hold a conversation without the sound feeling harsh or sharp. The panel helps to create a softer background noise level and a more pleasant acoustic environment.

Place the panel where you experience a lot of echo or high noise levels, for example in open-plan spaces, home offices or social areas. Designs in this category work particularly well in rooms where you want to create a cohesive and well-thought-out feel. This makes the panel easy to combine with both neutral and more expressive interior design elements.

Design that enhances the room – both visually and acoustically
By combining absorbent materials with a carefully stretched canvas, the panel contributes to more controlled and pleasant room acoustics. The balanced absorption makes the sound feel softer and improves the room’s acoustics in living rooms and offices as well as in bedrooms and public spaces. At the same time, the high-quality printing technology enhances the motif’s light, colours and details, creating a harmonious feel in the room.

Premium printing on polyester or cotton canvas
The motif is reproduced with high colour accuracy and rich detail thanks to HP Latex technology. Printing is carried out using water-based, odourless and GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks, offering a resolution of up to 300 DPI. The colours are UV-resistant and retain their vibrancy even in bright rooms, making the canvas suitable for both home and public environments.

Polyester canvas
The polyester canvas (260 g/m²) provides a smooth, modern surface with high colour accuracy, excellent UV resistance and a surface that can be gently wiped with a damp, soft cloth. The result is a modern, clear and colourful look that lasts over time.

Cotton canvas
The cotton canvas (260 g/m²) offers a classic, matt texture with natural warmth and a hand-painted character. To preserve the fine texture, it should be air-dried. Regardless of the fabric material, HP Latex inks fuse into the weave, creating a durable, flexible surface that retains its colour intensity over time.

High-density acoustic core with proven performance
The sound-absorbing core consists of at least 50 per cent recycled polyester with a density of 450–600 g/m². The material effectively captures sound waves and reduces reverberation in the room. A 4 mm protective backing made of CE, M1 and PEFC-certified wood is fitted to the rear to ensure stability and a durable construction. The combination of canvas, core material and protective backing provides uniform sound absorption that improves speech intelligibility, concentration and general well-being.

Sturdy frame, precise canvas tension and elegant edge printing
Each canvas is mounted on a solid pine frame. Sizes up to 70×50 cm have a 15 mm frame, whilst sizes from 90×60 cm and upwards have a 20 mm frame. The precise canvas tension ensures the print retains its shape over time. The World map - graffiti design is printed all the way around the frame, creating a stylish gallery look where the print is just as beautiful from the side as it is from the front. The combination of taut canvas, clean lines and accurate printing delivers a professional finish.

Easy hanging
To make hanging simple and straightforward, all canvases are fitted with 6–8 CNC-milled keyholes on the back, depending on size. This provides extra-stable hanging without the need for additional frames or special hooks. Usually, one or two screws per board are sufficient for secure mounting, which saves time and makes installation simple.
