Acoustic wall art - Sunflowers

Acoustic wall art – Sunflowers for quieter rooms and softer acoustics

SilentDirect’s acoustic wall art Sunflowers combines carefully selected image quality with an acoustically absorbent core. This Swedish-made product is based on a sturdy canvas panel with a pine frame, filled with recycled polyester to dampen disruptive reflections.

The result is a significantly improved room acoustics in environments where hard surfaces would otherwise create a restless soundscape. The panel contributes to a more cohesive and calm sound environment that is appreciated both at home and at work.

Place the panel where you experience a lot of echo or high noise levels, for example in open-plan spaces, home offices or social areas. Designs in this category work particularly well in rooms where you want to create a thoughtful and cohesive feel. Floral designs add subtle detail and natural colour transitions that make the room welcoming and lively without overwhelming the overall look.

Design that enhances the room – both visually and acoustically
The sound-absorbing construction helps to create a stable and soft soundscape that makes the room more pleasant and less stressful over time. The balanced absorption makes the sound feel softer and improves the room’s acoustics in living rooms and offices as well as in bedrooms and public spaces. At the same time, the high-quality printing technology enhances the motif’s light, colours and details, creating a harmonious feel in the room.

Premium printing on polyester or cotton canvas
The Sunflowers design is reproduced with high colour accuracy and rich detail thanks to HP Latex technology. The print is produced using water-based, odourless and GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks, offering a resolution of up to 300 DPI. The colours are UV-resistant and retain their vibrancy even in bright rooms, making the canvas suitable for both home and public environments.

Polyester canvas
The 260 g/m² polyester canvas has a smooth, modern texture that enhances colours and contrasts. The surface is UV-resistant and can be wiped clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, making the canvas practical for everyday environments where durability and easy maintenance are important.

Cotton canvas
The 260 g/m² cotton canvas provides a soft, matt surface with a more traditional, painterly look. To preserve the textile feel, dry cleaning is recommended. Combined with HP Latex inks, you get a durable, flexible surface where colours and details remain vibrant over time.

High-density acoustic core with proven performance
The core of the panel contains at least 50 per cent recycled polyester with a density of 450–600 g/m², making the material particularly effective at absorbing sound waves and reducing reverberation time. On the back is a 4 mm protective panel made of CE, M1 and PEFC-certified wood, which provides structural stability. Together, the layers of fabric, core material and protective panel create even sound absorption that promotes both focus and well-being.

Sturdy frame, precise fabric tension and elegant edge printing
Each panel is mounted on a solid pine frame. Sizes up to 70×50 cm have a 15 mm frame, whilst sizes from 90×60 cm and upwards have a 20 mm frame. The precise canvas tension ensures the canvas retains its shape over time. The Sunflowers motif is printed all the way around the frame, creating a stylish gallery look where the canvas is just as beautiful from the side as it is from the front. The combination of taut canvas, clean lines and precise printing gives a professional finish.

Easy hanging
To make hanging simple and straightforward, all canvases are fitted with 6–8 CNC-milled keyholes on the back, depending on size. This provides extra-stable hanging without the need for additional frames or special hooks. Usually, one or two screws per panel are sufficient for secure mounting, saving time and making installation simple.

Acoustics, quality and a sense of cohesion
Acoustic wall art from SilentDirect helps to create a more cohesive acoustic environment where disruptive reverberation is reduced and conversations are heard more clearly. By combining acoustic functionality with carefully selected materials and premium printing, you get a solution that both improves the sound environment and enhances the impression of the room.
