SilentDirect Air – Effective Sound Absorption for Ventilation Ducts
SilentDirect Air is a specially developed sound absorber for ventilation ducts that effectively reduces sound transmission between rooms. The product is designed to improve the acoustic environment in everything from homes and offices to industrial and public buildings where ventilation systems can otherwise spread disruptive noise. With proper installation, a quieter, more controlled, and comfortable indoor environment is created.
Reduces sound transmission in ventilation systems
Sound often travels unimpeded through ventilation ducts and can cause disturbances between different rooms. SilentDirect Air acts as a sound absorber within the duct, breaking up sound waves before they propagate further. This reduces both direct sound transmission and unwanted reflections, improving both comfort and speech intelligibility in adjacent spaces.
Materials and Construction
SilentDirect Air is made of 100% polyester, at least 50% of which consists of recycled material. The open fiber structure allows sound waves to be effectively absorbed rather than reflected further into the duct system. The material is lightweight, flexible, and moldable, making it easy to adapt to various ventilation solutions without negatively affecting airflow when installed correctly.
Easy adaptation to different duct sizes
The product is supplied in 40 cm widths and sold by the meter, providing great flexibility during installation. SilentDirect Air can be easily cut with standard scissors to fit ventilation ducts in sizes such as Ø80, Ø100, Ø125, Ø160, and Ø200. Its low weight and pliable structure allow the material to be quickly shaped and installed even in tight spaces.
Easy installation and maintenance
Installation is simple and requires no special tools. The material is placed directly in the ventilation duct, where it sits securely without the need for advanced fastening. If necessary, SilentDirect Air can be easily removed for cleaning. It can be vacuumed on low power, shaken out, or rinsed in lukewarm water. The product dries quickly and retains its sound-absorbing properties over time.
Healthy and safe material selection
SilentDirect Air is designed to be safe for use in all types of indoor environments. The material is odorless, mold-resistant, and does not rot. It emits no harmful substances and does not release harmful fibers, making it suitable even for sensitive environments such as homes, offices, schools, and healthcare facilities.
Applications
SilentDirect Air is used in a variety of environments where ventilation noise is a problem. In homes, it reduces sound transmitted between rooms via the ventilation system. In offices, it contributes to a quieter work environment by reducing disruptive noise from ventilation systems. In industrial and warehouse settings, it improves the work environment by lowering the overall noise level. In public buildings such as schools and hospitals, it contributes to better acoustics and increased comfort for both staff and visitors.
Why customers choose SilentDirect Air
SilentDirect Air is a simple yet highly effective solution for reducing sound transmission through ventilation systems. The combination of high sound absorption, easy installation and maintenance, and a safe and sustainable material makes it the obvious choice for those who want to improve the acoustic environment without extensive modifications. The product delivers an immediately noticeable effect and contributes to a quieter and more pleasant indoor environment.

Hej Sofia,

/Elias
