Wear – Very high durability
Silent Socks furniture pads have undergone rigorous testing at SP, the Swedish Technical Research Institute in Borås, to ensure high quality and durability. A comparative study was conducted between Silent Socks and some common furniture pads/felt pads, and the results show that Silent Socks demonstrate outstanding durability.

In the test, a chair loaded with 50 kg was dragged back and forth over a distance of 40 cm in each direction. Impressively, the test was stopped after 40,000 cycles, and Silent Socks were still completely intact. The second-best pads in the test broke after only 23,000 cycles. This test was performed on linoleum flooring and clearly demonstrates Silent Socks’ superior durability.

Easy to install and wash
The installation of Silent Socks furniture pads is simple and requires no tools. They are quickly and easily mounted on chair or table legs, and it is not necessary to remove the internal or external original plastic pads on steel tube legs before installation. Thanks to the internal support, Silent Socks still attach securely to the furniture.

To maintain Silent Socks and keep them in optimal condition, we recommend vacuuming them when they become dusty. For more intensive dirt, they are easy to wash. Simply remove the entire Silent Socks, including the internal rubber ball, from the chair or table legs and wash the product in a washing machine using the wool program at 30–40°C. After washing, tumble dry Silent Socks until dry. For best results, let them rest in an airy and warm place for a few hours before reattaching them to the chairs or tables.
