SilentDirect PES Ceiling Fabric can be installed in three ways depending on your needs. For flush mounting, the panel is attached directly to the ceiling for a sleek and minimalistic look. To maximize sound absorption, spacer brackets can be used to create a 50 mm air gap between the panel and the ceiling—especially effective in rooms with high ceilings. For even more flexibility, the product can be mounted with wire suspension, allowing you to adjust height and position as needed. The panels come with pre-marked attachment points, and the included mounting hardware ensures a simple and secure installation.

Mounting options

SilentDirect PES Ceiling Fabric offers several mounting options that make installation simple and flexible, no matter your preferred attachment method.

Without mounting hardware
Choosing this option means no mounting accessories are included. This gives you full freedom to select the attachment method that suits your setup – such as glue, screws, or your own custom solution.

With brackets
If you choose bracket mounting, 2 brackets are included for each 592x592mm absorber, and 3 brackets for each 1200x600mm and 1200x900mm absorber. Two types of brackets are available: flush brackets and spacer brackets. Flush brackets mount the absorber directly to the ceiling, while spacer brackets create a 50 mm air gap for increased acoustic performance.

With wire
If you select wire suspension, 5 wire kits are included per absorber. Each kit contains a spiral spring, a 200 cm long wire with a loop at one end, and a carabiner with an adjustable clamp. Please note: ceiling hooks are not included – these must be chosen separately based on your ceiling type and preferred mounting method.

What is the difference between flush and spacer brackets?

The choice between flush and spacer brackets is mainly about aesthetics versus acoustic performance. Flush brackets mount the absorber directly to the ceiling without an air gap, giving a sleek, discreet appearance with a drop of about 50 mm – matching the product's thickness.

Spacer brackets, on the other hand, add an additional 50 mm and create an air gap between the absorber and ceiling. This results in a total drop of about 100 mm. The air gap improves sound absorption, especially in rooms with high ceilings or where maximum acoustic performance is desired.

In summary, spacer brackets are recommended for optimal sound absorption. Flush brackets are the best option if you prefer a more discreet, ceiling-close installation. Your choice depends on the balance you want between aesthetics and function.
